NVIDIA has announced a significant upgrade to its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service, rebranding the Priority membership to Performance. This enhancement offers users improved streaming quality with no additional cost, according to NVIDIA’s official blog.
Key Features of the Performance Membership
The newly named Performance membership allows gamers to stream at up to 1440p resolution, an upgrade from the previous 1080p, and supports ultrawide resolutions. Additionally, users can save in-game graphics settings across sessions, including NVIDIA RTX features in compatible games. Current Priority members are automatically transitioned to the Performance tier, enabling them to enjoy these benefits immediately.
Ultimate Membership and Day Pass Offers
The Ultimate membership continues to provide the highest quality streaming, connecting users to GeForce RTX 4080-powered gaming rigs with up to 4K resolution and 120 fps. For those undecided between Performance and Ultimate memberships, NVIDIA offers a Day Pass, currently discounted by 25%, providing 24 hours of cloud gaming access.
Playtime and Membership Benefits
Starting next year, GeForce NOW will introduce a 100-hour monthly playtime allowance for Performance and Ultimate members, with up to 15 hours rolling over each month. Additional hours can be purchased at $2.99 for Performance or $5.99 for Ultimate. Furthermore, NVIDIA is rewarding active members with unlimited playtime throughout 2025 if they maintain their membership in good standing.
New Game Additions
This week, seven new games have been added to the GeForce NOW library, including titles like Planet Coaster 2 and Empire of the Ants. These additions expand the library to over 2,000 games, offering enhanced graphics and NVIDIA RTX features like ray tracing and DLSS.
For a limited time, gamers can explore the new features and game offerings with a discounted Day Pass, making it an opportune moment to experience NVIDIA’s upgraded cloud gaming service.
